FireVoxel Documentation ======================= .. sidebar:: Acknowledgements FireVoxel documentation and video tutorials have been made possible by funding from the `National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering `__ (NIBIB/NIH U24 EB028980). **FireVoxel** (`firevoxel.org `_) is a Windows-based research software package for image analysis of MRI, CT, PET, and SPECT. It has been developed by `Artem Mikheev `_ and `Henry Rusinek `_ at the `Department of Radiology, NYU School of Medicine `_. FireVoxel provides powerful image processing tools for: * Loading and displaying images in DICOM or image (Analyze, NIfTI, or Midas) formats * Region-of-interest (ROI) analysis * Image segmentation * Motion correction * Modeling and parametric mapping of 4D datasets and dynamic series * Many other common image analysis tasks and automatic workflows. **FireVoxel is for research purposes only. It is not intended for clinical use.** The software is currently available free of charge to users at academic and not-for-profit research institutions. Please see :doc:`Install FireVoxel ` for terms of use and installation instructions. **Note: 9/2/2022 --- Please note that this website is under construction.** New documentation is added daily and existing materials are continually revised. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 :caption: Getting Started download quickstart tutorials report_issues publications .. sidebar:: Download User Guide (PDF) :download:`firevoxeldocs.pdf ` .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 :caption: User Guide contents Cite FireVoxel -------------- If you publish research results obtained using FireVoxel, please cite our website (https://firevoxel.org\ ), :ref:`FireVoxel build number `, and any relevant :doc:`publications `.
