FireVoxel is a medical imaging software for analysis and display of MRI, CT, PET, and SPECT images. Its capabilities include kinetic modeling of dynamic imaging studies, DICOM data import, image segmentation, region-of-interest drawing, image registration and many other quantitative imaging tools.
Project Status (Updated July 1, 2026) The FireVoxel project is currently on hold.
As of July 1, 2026, active software development, technical support, and distribution have been suspended due to departure of the project’s software developper.
We are grateful to the many researchers around the world who have used FireVoxel in their work over the years and helped to make it stronger. We hope to resume project activities in Fall 2026, although no decision has been made. Updates will be posted on this website if development resumes.
